Scrubbing

Garbage-In, Garbage-Out (GIGO) is a major worry of district data administrators everywhere. We pride ourselves on our ability to take data files provided by districts and run integrity checks that identify internal problem within the file(s). This “scrubbing” process also flags records that are incomplete, corrupt, and/or contain elements that are no compliant with system requirements. We also may concatenate data elements from multiple files to create more complete records while finding inconsistencies across files and programs. This process is essential if any local data warehousing is planned.
