John Simon

John Simon is an Inside Sales Representative at Educational Vistas, where he combines his extensive background in education and sales to support district partnerships and deliver exceptional service. Bringing nearly two decades of classroom experience—including teaching gifted and talented students—together with years of EdTech sales expertise at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and Varsity Tutors, along with solution sales experience at Ecolab, John possesses a deep, firsthand understanding of K-12 district needs and operational challenges at all levels. A collaborative problem solver known for his creativity and strategic approach, he thrives on listening to stakeholders, executing tailored initiatives, and delivering measurable outcomes.

John holds an undergraduate degree from Bemidji State University, a master’s degree from the University of St. Mary’s–Twin Cities, and a doctoral degree from Colorado State University Pueblo. Outside of his professional work, John resides in Minnesota where he enjoys an active lifestyle that includes working out, yard work, fishing, boating, and spending quality time with his wife, three children, and two dogs. You can also regularly find him cheering on his children on the basketball court or lacrosse field.
