Dr. Jason Wang
Dr. Wang has worked in education for over 20 years, beginning as a research analyst for the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Chengdu, China and then obtaining a master’s degree in economic regionalization.
Following his work at the Academy, Dr. Wang came to the United States to earn his Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Analysis from State University of New York at Buffalo. He is an experienced business executive with a demonstrated history of working in the computer software industry. Dr. Wang is skilled in SQL, Oracle Database, Enterprise Software, E-commerce, and Agile Methodologies. Also, he is the founder of Worldwide Learning Services, an educational consulting software development company.
Ralph Singh
EVI Consultant & Facilitator
Ralph Singh, author, storyteller, community builder, is founder and chair of the Wisdom Thinkers, currently consults to develop curriculum and resources in poor rural, poor urban, and everywhere in between, to help create a school climate which nurtures character, honors diversity, and deters bullying.
Ralph is a veteran of character education and has spent his life promoting spirituality and values in education and public life. Over 20 years ago, he was part of the CNY Education Consortium’s task force on Values in Public Education where he helped develop and name their Schools of Character project which was administered throughout the state by Syracuse University. Dr. Philip Fusco
A career educator, Dr. Fusco has served as a grade 7-12 Social Studies teacher, K-12 principal, and program consultant. Most recently, Dr. Fusco’s work has focused on collaborating with school districts in the development of character-based learning cultures that support students achieving their maximum potential.
As an extension of that initiative, Dr. Fusco facilitates the NYS School of Character mentor program in conjunction with The Academy for Character Education at the Sage Colleges and Character.org in Washington, DC. Through the creation of EXC21.ORG, he has enhanced his work with schools to build pathways to achieving excellence within character development. Bill Haltermann
Bill Haltermann & Pam Roberge have over 40 years of educational experience and have been working as a team for the past six years to develop a New York State standards-based approach to data-driven instruction. Their system assists teachers with understanding the progression and underlying skills of ELA standards and designing lessons that align with the rigor of state assessments. They have worked with multiple school districts in this area and have developed unique materials and assessments to support the teacher professional development associated with their data-driven instruction system.
Bill has experience as an educator and data analyst, and Pam has expertise as an ELA teacher, special educator, and special education administrator. They have been presenters at numerous conferences including DATAG and AERA. Bill and Pam are founders of BAP Analytics, an educational consulting firm specializing in ELA data-driven instruction. BAP Analytics is dedicated to a NYS Standards-Based approach for teacher development.
